Whether you already have the perfect piece of wood to turn into a one of a kind piece of furniture or don’t find a piece that meets your specifications already on our showroom floor, we’ll build a custom piece of furniture that you will fall in love with. At Hawkins Furniture Co. roughly 75% of our business is custom, made to order furniture, sustainably crafted out of reclaimed wood that is salvaged from old houses, barns, dance halls, and bowling alleys, as well as old growth trees that died due to Texas’ extreme weather – drought, wildfire, and hurricanes. We make dining tables, conference tables, console tables, desks, sideboards, kitchen islands, beds, nightstands, dressers, bookshelves, coffee tables, end tables, and more.
Custom Ordered 8’ x 42” Mesquite River Table
The entire table is Mesquite and it was a custom build for a customer. The rocks on the inside were collected from the customers travels around the world with many having writing on them of the place they were found. Live edge on both sides!

Texas Black Walnut Desk
This desk is a solid piece of Texas black walnut sourced from around the Georgetown area. A little over 8 feet long, the widths vary depending on the shape. It was a “once in a decade find” as many black walnuts don’t grow that big! The base is also black walnut slab and legs with a mesquite limb stretcher. This was also a custom build for a customer.
